FandangoNOW Migration
FandangoNOW is a streaming service where movie lovers can rent or buy movies or TV Shows on their mobile devices or smart TV. In 2020, Fandango acquired Vudu, which meant that we had two streaming platforms.
With Vudu having a 3x larger user base than FandangoNOW, the business made a decision to consolidate these services and migrate FandangoNOW users over to Vudu.

The Objective
The first goal of this consolidation was to sunset FNOW and migrate high-value and active users to Vudu. Based on FNOW purchasing trends our KPI was to retain 36% of users. My personal goal was to also acquire the less frequent users.

Results
Through collaboration with CRM, product, research, and engineers. We were able to successfully exceed our targeted number of FNOW-migrated accounts to Vudu. Looking at the data, out of the users that have attempted to migrate there is only a small percentage of users with a failed attempt
